Philosophy

We, the faculty of Biyani School of Nursing, believe that nursing is an ever-changing, dynamic health care profession that delivers goal-centered, direct care services responsive to the needs of individuals, families, and communities across the spectrum of health and illness.

Nursing is shaped by advancements in science and technology and must remain aligned with other professions to uphold standards and expertise within the healthcare system. As both a profession and a science, nursing draws knowledge from biological, physical, and behavioral sciences, as well as the arts, humanities, and human experiences.

Nursing science integrates clinical proficiency, critical thinking, therapeutic communication, teaching-learning strategies, professionalism, and cultural competency. Nurses collaborate with other disciplines to meet both individual and community health needs.

The profession supports evidence-based practice and empathetic care, equipping practitioners to face emerging healthcare challenges and adapt to new findings and technologies. It demands personal commitment and continuous learning for professional growth.

We believe that the undergraduate nursing course provides a broad-based education grounded in an academic curriculum that emphasizes critical thinking and professional values. It incorporates a blended learning strategy that includes experiential, reflective, scenario-based, and simulation-based learning.

The program aims to mold graduates into exemplary citizens who consistently adhere to the code of ethics and professional conduct in service of national aspirations.
